General Martial Arts Questions

Children can start martial arts from as young as 3 years old. Our Little Tigers programme (ages 3–5) is designed specifically for early development, coordination, confidence and listening skills.

Yes. Safety is our top priority. All classes are age-appropriate, fully supervised, and taught by qualified, DBS-checked instructors. Techniques are carefully structured to suit each age group.

No experience is needed. All of our programmes are beginner-friendly and designed to welcome students with no prior martial arts background.

Most children train 1–2 times per week, which provides excellent physical, mental and behavioural benefits without overwhelming them.

Beginners & Positive Start Programme

Our Positive Start Programme is a beginner-focused introduction to martial arts. It helps new students build confidence, learn fundamental skills and prepare for long-term progression towards Black Belt training.

Yes & No. We have classes for little ones called Tiger Tots from 3 or 4 up to 6 Our other classes are split by experience, so we have beginners, intermediates and advanced classes.

Adults & Family Martial Arts

Yes. Many adults start with no prior experience. Our family classes are beginner-friendly and focus on fitness, stress relief, confidence and self-defence.
